Sometimes you visit a restaurant and think, “this place deserves to be full”. I had lamb for my meal (huge and very tender). My wife had Golden Chicken and enjoyed it very much. Honey mustard sauce glazed and she really enjoyed it. We tried chicken schawarma and hummus, and lamb cigars from the ‘let’s begin’ menu and both were really delicious. A great time! Friendly staff. Thanks for being in Schenectady! After eating mostly (fried) american food during our week long tour upstate this place was a great relief. Authentic moroccan and indian dishes made to perfection. Friendly chef and waiters. Tara Kitchen has been on my radar for a while now and I finally made it into thier Schenectady location last night. The food was amazing! Everything I had was flavorful and fresh and delicious. I stated with the Zaalouk and Maqooda and had the lamb M’Rouzia as my main dish. The meat was super tender and flavorful, but honestly I would have expected to have had more of it for the price. My only other critique was the inconsistency of the service provided. Things seemed a bit dis organized resulting in some substantial delays that nearly cause me to leave and find another option, which was suppressing to me for an established and well known business. In the end everything worked out and the staff, despite the inconsistency was very friendly and accommodating.
