5 Stars – The Tater Shack in Dickson, TN is a must-stop! My wife and I are from North Texas and were just passing through Tennessee, so we pulled into The Tater Shack for lunch. Man, what a great find! I got the BBQ spud loaded with pulled pork and it was straight-up delicious—tender, smoky, great sauce, and all the fixings done right. Huge portion and hit the spot perfectly. The dessert selection was next-level amazing. We grabbed a couple things afterward and they were fresh, homemade-tasting, and worth every calorie. Bonus points: super concealed-carry friendly spot. As a Texas guy who carries daily, it’s always nice to eat somewhere where you don’t have to constantly worry about it accidentally being seen. Friendly service, clean, and quick. If you’re rolling through Dickson, do yourself a favor and stop here. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re headed this way.
