Came here to enjoy the yuzu ice cream and mochi. The vibe is really nice. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here for the view but service was terrible. We waited more than an hour and we were the only party if 3 left. Then a Japanese party of 3 just walked in and got seated inmediately. Food just okay. Not recommended for tourists.

This teahouse is on top of the hill with the spread of amasing view. Located in a very quiet area with traditional japanese house setting. If you have knee problem it's not advisable to visit this place. The tea house has a private room and also common room. I went there late in the afternoon therefore didnt get to try the food. I tried the matcha riveball and glutinous rice wine rice cream. Both are recommended. Do stopby this tea house if you come to uji. Outside the teashop there are many souvenir and ceramic shops at reasonable price. Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
