I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received on 5/18/2026 around 12:15 PM. I came in prepared to place a large order totaling approximately $240. When I attempted to order, the employee identified herself as “Alison” (although I cannot fully confirm this because she was not wearing a name tag) immediately told me it was “very inconsiderate” that I did not place the order online. I calmly explained that we had tried multiple times to order online, but the website kept giving us an error. Instead of trying to help or provide customer service, she stated that she was by herself and completely refused to take our order. I explained that we were paying customers and were not asking for anything for free, yet she still declined to serve us. She then returned the drinks we already had and continued refusing the order. What also concerned me was that while handling cash and money, she was also preparing drinks without following proper hygiene practices in between. That was very unprofessional and concerning to witness as a customer. What makes this even more disappointing is that my clinic, DaVita Pinole, orders from this location all the time. We are loyal and frequent customers, and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Because our order was declined, we ultimately had to take our business to Quality Tea instead. I understand being understaffed can be stressful, but refusing service to customers willing to spend over $240 and speaking to them in a dismissive manner is unacceptable. There are much better ways to communicate with customers and handle difficult situations. I hope management seriously addresses both the customer service and hygiene concerns because this experience left a very negative impression. Price per person: $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Audra, Can you please confirm the date and time of your attempted purchase? My employee on shift at the timeline you provided does not match the name or the mannerism described. Please feel free to call the store after 4pm, and ask for me the manager so that we can discuss. I apologize for the experience you received at our store. I hope we can gain you back as a valued customer.

I will always go here over any boba in the area! Very nice employees, always helpful with the menu options as it does change, flavors are always good and the boba itself is always on point. I know when I go here I won't be disappointed. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
