Both Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) and Technique are recommended for visiting. Ignore other places, discover French menu at this restaurant. To order fantastic pork chop, awesome crab cakes and tasty sandwiches is a truly good idea. You will be served delicious chocolate souffles. The high ratings of Technique would be impossible without gracious waiters. The service is always good, keep it in mind. You are to be pleasantly impressed by amazing prices at this place. Although you should keep in mind that the general score on Zomato for this spot is below average.
We were here for breakfast and were surprised at the affordable cost and the quality of the food. Very much enjoyed our dining experience here and want to come back. Speed was quick and the inside of the building was clean and modern.
I love this restaurant. I have been coming here since it opened. Am so sad it is closing next week. Have always enjoyed the lunch items. And the desserts are to die for. There will never be another restaurant like this.
Sad that the dinner service is not available any longer and even more sad that breakfast and lunch are only being served for 11 more days. Technique is truly a wonderful experience you get to see the next wave of upcoming shifts and culinary students from the Cordon Bleu in Pasaddna. Most notably at Technique, is Chef Mike Pergl. He is always a pleasure to see and not one bit shy about coming around from the kitchen to talk to people during breakfast and lunch service. After dining at Technique & getting to know the students & Pergl over the past year I've learned that LCB truly teaches hospitality in every sense of the word. The food and hospitality is truly what the service industry is about. It's heartbreaking but after so many years as a staple in Pasadena the Cordon Bleu is closing and technique will be no more. It's the end of an era but I look forward to seeing where the upcoming chefs & students will wind up and I will seek them out and give them my business at whatrver restaurants they land at. THANK YOU TECHNIQUE
