20+ minutes for a room temp chai made by six people helicoptered over the coffee station. Great location, but major bummer on the humdrum, disorganized service of what should be a well-staffed crew. Muffin (from Manderfields) was good. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

While weekend wait times can be longer than usual, we should have communicated that more clearly, and I'm sorry we missed the mark. Waiting 20 minutes only to receive a lukewarm chai is not the experience we want anyone to have. We have several new team members currently in training, which is not an excuse, but it is something we are actively working through. I've been spending more time working directly with the staff to improve communication, consistency, and drink quality so experiences like yours don't happen again. We appreciate your patience as we continue to grow and improve, and we'd love the opportunity to earn back your trust. We hope you'll give us another chance.

First time visiting, and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience. We were initially cut off mid-order because a previous customer paid with a $50 bill and claimed they were short-changed. We received our drinks fairly quickly, but they were gone by the time our food finally arrived. We ordered at 12:17 and didn’t receive our food until 12:57 — and only after we asked for water since our drinks were gone and checked on our order. At that point, we were told our food had apparently been ready for a while, but our buzzer never went off. We asked if the food could be remade since it had likely been sitting, but that didn’t happen. The avocado toast came out with soggy bread, warm avocado, and the quiche was only lukewarm. What made it more frustrating was that they accidentally handed me a turkey sandwich first, and that bread was warm and crunchy. It was immediately swapped for my correct order, which made it pretty obvious the avocado toast had been sitting for quite some time. Disappointing experience, especially for a first visit. I’d consider giving it another shot if service and food timing were more consistent. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

What you described around timing, the order mix-up, and the delay in getting your food is not the experience we want anyone to have. We also should have communicated more clearly once your order was ready and ensured your food was fresh when it reached you. That part especially is on us. We’ve already reviewed this situation with the team so we can tighten up our handoff process, improve order tracking at the pickup area, and make sure food is served promptly once it’s ready — not sitting. I understand why that experience would feel frustrating, especially on a first visit, and I appreciate you giving detailed context so we can fix the gaps. Delicious food and drink offerings and gorgeous location. Right on the river, Tempest Coffee Collective offers the best views of Appleton. I appreciate the menu is short and sweet with only the best options. Pictured is the seasonal Lumberjack Latte, Sage and tonic espresso, and breakfast biscuits. I have zero complaints and always offer up Tempest as my brunch suggestions to friends and visitors.
