Used to be good. Ordered a meal, in a box, and pancake rolls at the counter. Gave the letter/numbers. Server pointed to items. I agreed. Got home. Prawn toast and bland pancake rolls. Stupid on my part not checking bag before leaving. Couple.of slices of greasy toast no substitute for meal. Won't be going back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Some Chinese takeaways do really good fish and chips. Terry’s Takeaway unfortunately is not one of them. Rather a disappointing meal from here. The cod was a good size but had a very thick and oil-soaked batter coating. The chips were also a good size portion and were well cooked but were not proper freshly cut chip shop chips, just frozen catering chips. No salt or vinegar was offered and I forgot to ask. The mushy peas were the worst I have ever had - for some reason they had so much sugar added to them they tasted sickly sweet and I found them inedible. Mushy peas should not have sugar added to them and certainly not the amount these had. Cod, chips and mushy peas cost £13.10 and was freshly cooked to order. I would not recommend the meal from here though. New City Fish Bar just around the corner is far, far better. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4

This very well could be the best takeaway I’ve had. Service was very friendly, delivery was quick, prices were cheap and the food is SO DAMN GOOD!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
