Thanh Loi Tofu is a hidden gem for tofu lovers. Their fried tofu with mushrooms is definitely the standout dish on the menu. The tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the mushrooms add a great depth of flavor. While the service is okay and the ambiance is a bit outdated, the delicious food makes up for it. The prices are very affordable, making it a great spot for a quick and tasty bites. Overall, I would highly recommend Thanh Loi Tofu for anyone in the El Monte area looking for great tofu.

Do not recommend. Very rude service. After purchasing the several tofu desserts, we noticed that they did not give us the syrup (which goes with the desert). My husband asked for it and the older man ignored him and walked away after taking his money. When my husband politely asked again, the older man did not say one word and finally gave 1 small container. We then asked if this would be enough for the amount of tofu we purchased as we purchased lots of Tofu. The older man yelled "NO MORE!" I don't like writing bad reviews on small businesses but life is too short to shop and deal with rude people. There are so many great desert places in the SGV that it isn't worth it to come here!

This place is easy to find and but the shop is very small and doesn't offer a wide selection of products. Although they have the regular items but depending on the time you go, they may run out early.
