Somehow I've worked in Atwater for nearly 10 years, and just now found out about this absolute gem! I tried the butter chicken, the dahl makhni, samosas, and garlic naan bread. I knew i was in for an amazing experience the instant I walked through the door and breathed in the glorious smell of their wonderful cooking, and was greeted with a smile by a very kind gentleman. I am not exaggerating when I say their food absolutely rocked my world! It was SO delicious! It was so good, I lost my usual self control, and ate until I was absolutely stuffed, and I still have enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow, because they are very generous with their portions for a very reasonable price. Everything was cooked to complete perfection, and seasoned wonderfully. I will absolutely be a repeat customer going forward, and I definitely reccomend them to anybody and everybody. Really wanted to like this place as it would avoid me driving to Merced for good Indian food but was disappointed The naan was dry and cracked from the edges and too burnt from the bottom, we ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala both curry’s were decent although the chicken pieces tasted not fresh and rubbery, I couldn’t even cut it with my fork, the samosas were too salty and the tamarind sauce that comes with it tasted rancid Price per person: $10–20
