Overall, our experience was excellent. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous and satisfying. The service was outstanding; the staff member who assisted us was attentive, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. We were traveling from Australia and had the good fortune to stumble across this out standing restaurant. We dined here twice and could not fault the food or service. Aaron the manager went out of his way to accommodate us even though they were heavily booked on our second visit. Colin the main barman went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and allowed us to try a few wines before we settled on one. We all ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection, as was the side dishes. Thank you both for a wonderful experience. We appreciate great service and food and you delivered on both occasions. I had a fantastic experience at The Alcott, and it stands out as a great option for a well-rounded dining experience in the city. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt modern, lively, and welcoming, with a stylish setup that makes it suitable for both casual outings and more special occasions. The overall vibe strikes a nice balance between relaxed and upscale. The food was okey. Each dish was well-presented, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. The menu offers a good variety, and everything we tried met expectations in terms of portion size. Timing was also on point, with dishes arriving without unnecessary delays. Service was professional, attentive, and efficient throughout the visit. The staff maintained a good level of engagement without being intrusive, which contributed positively to the overall experience. Overall, this is a reliable and enjoyable spot if you’re looking for quality food, a great atmosphere, and solid service in Auckland.
