Took the kids here as were on holiday. I was really happy with how clean in was! Every soft play I've been to back home in London is dirty and just smells like sweaty feet. This place for one was aired out so no smell and everything was spotless. Upon entry we were given a leaving time on our receipt of 2 hours which was more than enough time for the kids to play. The seating area where the adults sit had loads of natural light from the big windows making it feel more open and not dingy it was a very pleasant visit and I will be taking them back before we go home Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were really disappointed by the service we received today. We approached the ice cream window and spent a few minutes looking at the menu while deciding what we wanted. Once we'd decided, there was still nobody at the window, so we rang the bell. About a minute later, a member of staff appeared and told us they were closed. It was 5:04pm, and we were told they had closed at 5:00pm. I politely suggested that if they were closed, it would have been helpful to shut the window or remove the open sign so customers didn't think they were still serving. Had the window been closed, we wouldn't have wasted several minutes deciding what we wanted, only to disappoint our two young children when we were then told we couldn't order. The male member of staff replied in a dismissive and rude manner, saying that perhaps they should have done that. Because of his attitude, I explained that we'd actually been standing at the window for around four minutes before anyone came to speak to us. He responded sarcastically, "Oh, were you? Did you ring the bell then?" When I said we had rung it, he replied, "Well, I don't think you did because I was just inside the café." Being accused of lying when I was simply explaining what had happened was incredibly rude and unnecessary. As I walked away, after repeating that we'd been waiting for several minutes, he sarcastically said, "Yeah, sorry about that," before deliberately slamming the serving window shut behind me. It was so obvious that my child even asked, "Why was that man so cross?" I completely understand that businesses have opening hours, and if we'd arrived after closing time, that would have been our mistake. Although it was disappointing that we couldn't buy an ice cream, that isn't the reason for this review. The issue was the way we were spoken to. There was no need to be confrontational, sarcastic, accuse a customer of being dishonest, or slam the serving window shut as we walked away. A little courtesy and professionalism would have made all the difference. To add to the confusion, when we left the park at around 5:30pm, the "Open" sign was still hanging in the window, despite the serving window being closed. This experience left a really poor impression. I hope this feedback is taken on board so that future customers are treated with more courtesy and respect. Service: 1

Had a lovely visit to The Ark today. I was really impressed with how clean it and fresh it was. The food was really tasty and a great portion size. The coffee was delicious, the best cappuccino I’ve had in ages! The service was fast and staff were lovely. We will be returning soon! :-) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
