We visited as a group of four at 11:30 today. Upon arrival, we were genuinely impressed by the lovely decor and complimented our booth seating, but unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. Our food arrived stone cold. The reason for this was completely obvious, as we could clearly see two of our four meals sitting on the counter for over 10 minutes just waiting to be served to us.When the food finally reached the table, the quality was incredibly poor: Veggie Breakfast: The egg was burnt, gristly, and completely inedible. Halloumi: Overcooked, dry, and tough. Veggie Sausages: Entirely tasteless. Poached Egg: My friend's egg was severely overcooked and rock hard. The only decent plate of food at the table was a single omelette. To make matters worse, not a single member of staff checked in on us during the meal. Had anyone cared enough to ask 'how is the food', they would have found out about these major issues before we left. Sadly, no one asked, and we left incredibly disappointed. I came the other week and got the 10 pc boneless wings with salt n pepper coating. I really enjoyed them as they were so flavourful and juicy. My boyfriend also got the buffalo mozzarella pizza and he said he really enjoyed it. We also got come classic fries to share. Not to mention the server was so so friendly and helped us with all our questions. She had ginger hair, very sweet and i think her name was alarna or alana not sure how her name was spelt apologies, but she gave us incredible service. highly recommend coming here!! I have just attended a fabulous baby shower for our gorgeous Ashleigh at The Book, the food was amazing, staff friendly and helpful, there was a lovely singer, Lauren as well, brilliant atmosphere, a huge Thank You Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
