Go here if you can if you are on the Homer spit! Very tiny restaurant with limited seating inside. The outdoor seating didn't seem to be happening the day we were there. We waited for awhile but it was worth it. Super fresh oysters and we watched them season and steam the shrimp right across the bar from us. Prices were Alaska July tourist season prices but worth it. We purchased a dozen oysters to take back to our AirBnb as well.

Great food! Limited selection but what me and my husband ordered was delicious. A bit had to find ... small place with limited seating ... but we'll worth it.

By far one of our best dinners in Alaska! We were exhausted from river fishing all day! Our travel partners found the Broken Oar Oyster bar earlier that morning on their walk and we will be forever grateful! Ryan the owner has such a good story on how this place came to be and where he started (on the beach) when he first arrived 12 years ago! Ask him! His sweet mom worked along side him doing the dishes! The place is small inside but has a beautiful outside patio with heavenly views! I forgot to snap a photo of the baked oysters because we devoured them with out thinking! We all ordered the ceviche as a starter and had two bowls of the Pan Roast(one original and one Cajun)! Both delish! A beautiful combination of white wine, butter, seafood and secret spices cooked in a steamer pot along with the yummiest butter toast! For desert we enjoyed a homemade perfectly prepared strawberry rhubarb cream Brulé
