This used to be the best chip shop ever but the last two times I’ve had it was not as good. I dunno if it’s a new oil they are using or something but I was so disappointed :( the fish used to be the best in Scotland. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

This his now the third time that the food has been substandard . Consistency and quality was always a strongpoint , but for some reason the Chip Box has gone down hill. I will say the chips are always in point , but each time now the sausages have been like wooden truncheons and in no way fresh , despite it being 6pm. The king rib tonight took the biscuit as the inside of the batter was like a paste consistency. Unfortunately , for me the consistency of quality has now become the standard out at the wrong end of the scale . Once , yes. Three times now Could I have gone back maybe but after a 250 mile drive to get home and -3 outside , I wasn’t wasting anymore time or money only to go back out again Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10
