Wow what a great new Indian restaurant in town with really nice decor inside a historical 19th century farm house. The upstairs has a nice bar with a number local breweries on tap and can be set up for private functions. It was recommended to us by an Indian friend. Very welcoming and knowledgeable owner esp regarding the history of food and dishes. Refined Indian cuisine. Some unique dishes like the yummy like the deep fried spinach leaves in home made sauce (appetizer). The dessert menu looks great but we ran out of room. Definitely will come back again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40

Had a great experience trying various dishes at Chulha. Service is on point and the staff is particularly helpful. Highlights have to be the Palak Chaat, Seekh Kabab and the gorgeous desserts. The outlet has outdoor and indoor seating which has been done up neatly. The Music playlist is. I went to The Chulha last night with a girlfriend for dinner, and we had the best experience! 10/10! You walk into this gorgeous 18th century home which they have done up beautifully, and are greeted and made to feel right at home from the lovely staff. Our amazing server for the night Pulkit, had great recommendations! First to start was the appetizer Palak Chaat and we were blown away by the flavours! Highly recommend! Then our recommended dinner was Dum Ka Murg (amazingly seasoned and cooked, 10/10) and the Murg Makhani (butter chicken, INCREDIBLE flavours! 10/10!) And to finish off we had a great desert resembling bread pudding, it was fantastic! The owner was lovely and checks in, you really feel at home here! I have been waiting for an Ajax staple restaurant like this, and it has arrived! We will be back again, and again, and again!
