I visited The Cornerstone for an evening meal and it most definitely didn’t disappoint. The service was second to none, staff were extremely attentive and efficient and waiting times for food and drinks were minimal. I had the Birria burger which was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. We also sampled a couple of their cocktails.. some of the best I’ve ever had. Couldn’t fault our experience here, would definitely recommend! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We’ve been here a few times for breakfast, dinner, and stopping in for coffee and, and we are so impressed every time. The food is so high quality, innovative, and different than what you can find almost everywhere else in the area. We are so happy The Cornerstone found it’s way to Crook, and we will continue to be regular customers! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Can make almost every menu item vegetarian friendly.

Oh wow, first major positive is that this lovely place IS DOG FRIENDLY! we went for breakfast Sunday morning and it was delicious, hot and freshly cooked and very reasonably priced, the coffee was great too which really matters. We shall become regular weekend breakfasters now we know we can take the dog with us and he can have a sausage then we can pop a takeaway caramel latte into Dog Envy as we leave and buy our dog treats for the rest of the week so convenient and so delicious!
