A menu to die for. Get down to this place for a long lunch and a glass or 3 of wine. Brilliant food, unbelievable service and a very comprehensive wine list. Words can not express how good this was. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a lovely setting and a surprise find for us on this trip to the area. The Current Shed came highly recommended and we were lucky to get in on a last minute reservation during the holidays. The set menu seemed promising and the wine list is extensive. The staff were attentive and very helpful and efficient. The food started off great, but after a delicious entree, alas, the main did not at all live up to the hype. My venison (rump, not disclosed on menu) was gamey and the strong flavour paired with red cabbage would have been a nice compliment, had it not been pickled like white cabbage, making it distinctly sour and really not that enjoyable to eat. The bacon and shallot mashed potato was salty, which, as a medly, just did not work together. My husband's chicken dish was overpowered by the mushrooms, which were so rich and buttery (and plentiful) disturbingly so. The chocolate ganache with roasted hazelnuts and strawberries finished off the menu nicely, but it was far from spectacular and overall just didn't manage to round out a dissatisfying lunch (especially in that price range). The included fresh bread rolls with home made butters, and chocolate brownie tasters served before and after the meal were a nice touch. At nearly $300 for two adults and one child for lunch, it was not exactly what one would wish for, unfortunately. Happy to try them again though during our next holiday to the region! Wow! What a fantastic day we enjoyed at the Currant Shed Restaurant!Family group of 25 with varied ages 20 months to 70 yrs all catered for!Perfect venue:, absolutely relaxed atmosphere with beautiful outside lawns for children to play on and Adults to stretch out and relax!Food: Amazing! Delicious ,plentiful,enjoyed by all!!A huge thanks to INBAEL and staff for making our day so memorable! Your friendly efficient manner was exceptional!We shall return
