Met a friend for lunch. It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside. The waitress was friendly and attentive. (At some restaurants, outside seating can mean hit-or-miss service, but it was good here!) My buddy ordered the shrimp tacos and housemade chips; he said his meal was great. I ordered the traditional breaded tenderloin (with toppings on the side) and tater tots. My meal was great as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I were passing through Rochester on our way up to Argos and decided to give the Dam Land a Try. We arrived about 20 minutes early but our carry out order was ready in a flash! My wife chose the classic tenderloin and I grabbed the PBJ Burger meal for my son and myself. Unfortunately due to time constraints we were not able to eat for about an hour. We went up to see the massive Big Boy 4014 during it's Indiana stop before heading on to DC. After the train fiasco we passed off my son's order to him while he headed back to work. My wife and I pulled over thinking the food would be already cold. The food was still nicely warm in styrofoam carry out containers, and we both fell in love. My wife enjoyed the tenderloin, great taste, amazing portion size and fresh toppings. The PBJ Burger did not even sound good to me (seriously) but I like to try new things. This burgar completely blew me away! Seriously, one of the best hamburgers I have had in life and an HOUR AFTER BEING GRILLED! While we were still eating our son called RAVING about his burger before going back into work! Hahaha My wife also tried the PBJ Burger and wants to go back for the PBJ tenderloin. We were not able to stay but the Dam Landing looks like a great time. Fun atmosphere, laid back environment, outstanding view and cheerful staff. Excellent Job Everyone, my complements to the grill master! I will DEFINITELY be going back, hopefully with more time! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great atmosphere good food. I not a big fan of the 4% convenience fee on bill, just increase your prices 4% so I don't have to see it on the bill. This fee did affect my tip amount for 20% to 18%. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
