Prices are sky high. For context a one scoop ‘gelato’ in a waffle cone costs £3 (£3.50 with a flake; in comparison, authentic gelato 1 scoop cost me £3.88 (or €4.50) just off of La Rambla in Barcelona. And that’s for the pleasure of coming out of the shop smelling like you’ve been making a curry all day, as it’s in the front half of a curry house; all the while looking at a car garage opposite. The Dessert Table had a very quiet atmosphere for a Friday evening around 6:30pm. The food was decent, but it took a bit of time to arrive. The staff were friendly and polite, and the decor was simple but pleasant.
