As a local, I’ve always seen The Docket as one of the better places to go in downtown. However, Ethan has assembled a crew that is just a step above the rest. I’ve traveled to many different places and I can say Benny is among one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. He is a wizard with his mixes and a great guy to chat with. Todd is also exceptional. I enjoy talking bourbon with him and he will be as good as Benny in no time. Anyone looking for a good time and a good drink thinking they need to go to DC for it is missing a gem way closer to home. I couldn’t recommend The Docket enough. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ethan clearly loves what he’s doing and is the reason places like sidebar continue to offer something special and separate themselves. Had a great time at The Docket! The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are excellent, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was letting the bartenders test their creativity with a dealer’s choice drink, and Ethan absolutely nailed it. You can really tell there’s a lot of care put into the experience, from the service to the overall vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
