A nice pub sitting on top of a hill with a nice view in the garden overlooking the hills. Food was good so was the service and very accommodating to dogs lots of dog bowls everywhere and they have a little menu for dogs which is an added bonus. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stopped off here for some liquid refreshment whilst cycling the west Kernow way. The staff were great, helped me find a campsite for the night. I will definitely call in again on my next Kernow adventure! Service: 5

We have just visited the Engine Inn for the first time after driving past it numerous times.What a lovely warm welcoming pub it is in a beautiful location.We had meals which were outstanding, I had the beef pie and mash with lovely roasted veg ,my husband had the lamb shank meal.It was very well presented and so filling.The staff are lovely and everyone in the pub made us feel welcome .Thank you for a lovely experience. We will be back
