I really did want to leave a good review but my two recent experiences with them really ruined it. I’ve came here a few times and I will say the food here is really good as well as their baked goods. I try to give their coffee multiple chances but I can’t there’s no flavor even if you get any of their specialty iced coffee drinks it’s bland. However, one experience I had was when they were busy which is understandable but I guess a friend or family idk of the owner came to say hi & chat with them. While I was waiting in line near the cashier waiting to order she allowed the two people to cut in front of me and proceeded to take them. I don’t like to cause a scene or any problems bc I know how stressful work and owning a business can be so I just left it as it is. Another was recently Sunday (May 31st) they were busy as usual which i understand however I only ordered 1 iced coffee no food or anything just a drink. I waited 40 minutes for my iced coffee while seeing abt 15 people who were behind us get their iced coffee and drinks first (yes i counted). My boyfriend asked the employees about my drink because we kept seeing people who were in the back of the line, getting their food and drinks before I got my iced coffee. One girl said she was gonna check on it and the owner also said she was gonna check on it and it took asking a third time for them to make it. It’s not worth a $10 iced coffee. in my opinion, too overpriced for the service that they give & how bland their drinks are. It’s a nice place though I really wish I had a better experience. I’ve visited twice and unfortunately was disappointed both times. I really like supporting local small businesses, which is why I wanted to give farm café a second opinion. After my first visit, I figured the quality may have been lacking because they were very busy, so I wanted to come back and try again. After today, though, I’m not so sure that was the issue. I don’t mind paying higher prices for quality ingredients, homemade goods, and house-made syrups—(which they have and I was very excited to try !) However, on both visits, the food quality was disappointing. The baked goods I purchased were dry and overbaked, which was frustrating given the price point. On my most recent visit, I was happy with my latte, until I noticed a dark debris in the bottom. I thought it could have potentially been part of the syrup but it was extremely bitter and leads me to believe some loose espresso grinds made their way into my cup. Which was sad because it was presented nice The atmosphere also felt a bit off, as the staff didn’t seem particularly warm or inviting. I will say the owner is very hardworking, and it’s clear she cares a lot about her business but I’m not sure the staff do. That’s what makes this feedback more disappointing to leave, because the café has a lot of potential and many positive reviews. Based on my experiences, though, it hasn’t felt worth the price. Grain Field Grub egg whites, avocado smash, turkey bacon with basil aioli smear on multigrain panini. I had such a great experience at the Farm Café in Valhalla. From the moment I walked in, the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone there was so welcoming, polite, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole visit feel comfortable and enjoyable. The place itself is beautiful, very clean, and in a perfect location that’s easy to get to. What I really loved was being able to find healthy food that actually tastes great and feels worth spending money on. You can tell they care about quality and about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back again and recommending this spot to family and friends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
