Used to come to The Fish Factory when I was young, been meaning to pay a visit for a little while now and I'm glad I did. Food was fabulous - I had Bouillabaisse for the first time and loved it, you could tell the fish was fresh from the tase of the king prawns and the squid was tender not rubbery. The fish and chips here surprised me with how nice they were, you can tell a big difference between this and a chip shop or frozen isle. Light and tasty batter, fish was not dry and chips felt homemade and gluten free option available. Tartare sauce was so good?! Now I feel FOMO everything else on the menu. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available no extra charge Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot, Free of charge street parking, Paid street parking Parking: There's a £1 per hour car park east of this restaurant on the same road. Not on parkopedia but actually there's Offshoot roads have 1hr free (plus unlimited after 6pm), there are 1hr free spots outside if you're lucky, and perhaps permit roads nearby if you're visiting not during permit hours. Only disappointment was there wasn’t enough Chowder in the bowl. Only half a bowl. Felt short chsnged on that as it’s not cheap, and the bread with it was very thin.., BUT! The steak was huge and very nicely cooked to perfection. Loved the thick cut chips.., have been going to this restaurant on n off for fifteen years and it’s always maintained excellence but sadly the soup although delicious. Portion-Size let it down
