I love shopping at Fresh Market! Everything always tastes so fresh and delicious. I usually pick up the prepackaged meal with steak, gnocchi, and asparagus, it’s one of my favorites. The smoked salmon dip is also so good! But honestly, my favorite part is stopping by the dessert display. Emily is the best, she always remembers me and my husband, and she’s so kind and sweet (just like the desserts she makes!). She truly makes every visit more enjoyable. And if you go, don’t skip the fruit tart, it’s my absolute favorite!

Bought $80 worth of skirt steak and the moment I opened it at home I got hit with the most rancid smell in my life. Their skirt steak had green spots and went bad a long time ago. I can’t believe they had that selling to the public I cannot describe the rage I feel. You can literally SEE the green bits over a layer of parchment paper it is that bad. I’m so embarrassed to be fooled like this.

So this morning I got up early to run my errands. When I'm in Mississippi I go to Fresh Market and purchase my favorite Italian deli meats. So this morning I asked the young lady if they had some hot capicola? Her response was..... I'M NOT TRYING TO BE FUNNY BUT IF YOU DON'T SEE IT WELL WE AIN'T GOT IT!!!!!!!! Followed by a lot of head and arm movements like she was convulsing. I totally would have preferred a simple no we are out today. I took the high road today and I carefully put back the other items I had and took my money to another grocery store where I was treated nicely and RESPECTED. I'M FOR CERTAIN THAY SHE DOESN'T TALK TO THE FRESH MARKET CUSTOMERS WHO DOESN'T LOOK ME IN THAT MANNER.
