Well what can I say, very chic decor combined with a soho style feel, staff have a competent understanding of English which helps with my less than competent use of the Russian language,( please don't, I have lived in Russia for the last 10 years), I was offered a bar place or table depending on my choice of stay, I was transiting from Russia to the UK so I only had time for a beer....or 3 before I departed to Gdansk. A very good selection of beers, unfiltered being my preference and their house beer won hands down, Artem was the barman on duty and did an exemplary job in recommending which beers would suit my rather fussy tastes, I didn't have time to try the food but as I do, I had a good look (stare) at what was offered to patrons and would have ordered hadn't it been for the fine quality of beer and lack of time, all in all I am definitely coming back with my family to enjoy the splendour of this fine establishment and its location, its next to the main river that runs through Kaliningrad, I can but imagine the summers sipping a cool beverage or enjoying a warm spirit in the frost of the Russian cold, A definite must if you are close.
