Beds very comfortable. Have AC. Good value for money. Waitress at breakfast forgot our food but the reception staff was very nice!

I stay in Cheltenham quite a lot and The George has always been on my list of places to stay. Thankfully it did not disappoint, the property is nicely done out, even if I did nearly get lost coming back from breakfast. Talking of breakfast, there is a great selection of cooked and continental options and they serve one of the best, if not the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had (it's the melt in the mouth gammon they use). The room was comfortable, it was nice to see an air conditioning unit in such an old property. The only concern I had with the bedroom, was in the bathroom. When I went for a shower and turned the flow on full it neatly flooded the tray and probably would have done if I hadn't turned it down. The bedroom was spacious enough for me on my own, but the bathroom was a bit cramped around the basin. I would be happy enough staying there again without any hesitation, especially as it has a free car park with a reasonable amount of spaces.
