Good hotel, poor restaurant. Gin tonic beautifully presented on menu had nothing to do with description. Simplest fish and chips dish with no spices . Disappointing experience. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

My wife, baby daughter and I stayed at the hotel and ate here on the first night. We weren't disappointed. I'd recommend the lamb as it was probably one of the best I've had. We loved the atmosphere and service. We came quite early, at 6pm in the week, so it was quiet, but it got busier around 7pm. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
