A true hidden gem on Broadway! First time here and the place is amazing! The decor is very cozy, with a hint of almost Mediterranean flair. The atmosphere is cozy and there’s plenty of seating space. Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable. All his recommendations were a total hit! When we were leaving, a DJ was setting up, so there’s definitely a party time here. I’m upset that I didn’t know about this place before, and right in the heart of antique row on Broadway! Parking lot is free. We ordered happy hour dishes and they were bomb: fried cheese, chips with salsa, spicy shrimp tostita. I had a tequila cocktail and a Brazilian rum cocktail, both very delicious. Curious to try the Laws flight, looked so fun. Definitely coming back here again!!! Oh and check out the restroom decor, Victorian goals. All the goldfinch art and prints on the walls are fun too! Stop reading my review and just go there, already! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’m honestly so shocked by how poor of a visit it was, because last year I came for my birthday and it was so incredible. I made a reservation for a party of 10 for my birthday and they put me down for the wrong day and I had to have them switch it over. While I was there I got a happy hour drink, and a tostada both were good. Then when I get to the table, I ordered Chilaquiles and I was literally served tortilla chips from a bag, lettuce, a few pieces of tomato, cotija cheese, and a chipotle mayo. I’ve truly never been so disappointed in my life with food. I ordered three tacos and for it to be as expensive as they are I was extremely disappointed with the amount of toppings that were in them. The server did not make me feel super special on my birthday and overall, it was just a very inconvenient visit and I wish I would’ve went somewhere else instead. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

This is Iain and I own Goldfinch, and I'm honestly mortified reading this. The fact that you chose us for your birthday two years running means the world, and to think this is the visit you got instead of the one you had last year — the reservation getting put on the wrong day, chilaquiles that came out nothing like they should, tacos that didn't come close to justifying the price, and a server who didn't make your night feel like the celebration it was — I'm embarrassed. That's not my restaurant, and it's not the experience anyone should have here, let alone on their birthday. I'm going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened, personally. And I'd like to fully refund what you spent that night — it's the least I can do. I loved the environment and the workers were so nice and kind. Especially the food, amazing and delicious!! Reminded me of home honestly you need to come by and try this restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful and lot of good energy around. Music was just right and good conversations. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
