Stopped by The Farmhouse Grill at Raccoon Creek recently and honestly, it’s such a chill spot! You don’t even need to be a golfer to appreciate those gorgeous patio views. The food is way better than your average clubhouse fare—their burgers totally hit the spot, and the drinks are always ice cold. The staff is super laid-back but still totally on top of things. Just a really solid, relaxing place to hang out with friends on a sunny afternoon. Definitely coming back! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointed in this restaurant and their Mother’s Day brunch. We got there at 8 am and were promptly seated and welcomed. The young serving staff seemed excited and helpful, although our waiter ignored me and looked straight at my husband when he said “Happy Mother’s Day” (fine, people get nervous). We ordered our drinks and headed to the buffet, which was set in a cold, enclosed patio area (very unpleasant). The food looked less than appetizing, as if it’d been prepared elsewhere and transported to the restaurant. Sausages and bacon, as well as the biscuits, were lukewarm to cold, the gravy had not been served, the pancake machine was broken, so my daughter and others who wanted pancakes waited up to 45 minutes to get them. The enclosed patio area where we sat had not been properly heated, so it took a while to get comfortable. All in all, a big disappointment. A local dinner would have had fresher food. I had planned to make a dinner reservation at the grill before this happened but have no desire to do so after seeing how this event was handled. Hello! I’m so sorry you had a bad experience with us today. We were super disappointed about the pancake machine too and wish our electrical system hadn’t caused so many issues today for that station through the 8am seating before we found the issue. Overall good experience. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are solid. However, the taste/quality of the food was a bit disappointing. All that being said, the service was incredible and the view is unmatched. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
