Great atmosphere in this very popular intimate venue. Outdoor seating under cover. Reasonable selection of beers, wines and spirits. Didn't eat so cant comment on that. Competitive comparative prices. Recommended. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot, Free of charge street parking Parking: Parking across the road on Booths supermarket (check for times and charges). some free of charge off-street further down the road. Kid-friendliness: I think this would depend on the time of day. Not on a busy Saturday evening when I visited. Wheelchair accessibility: No. Outside is level and spacious however the interior offers little turning space the wc's would be difficult to access.

Fancied a pint. All was going well until the world's worst club singer plugged in her audio equipment and proceeded to murder every half decent female soloist hit from the late 20th Century. From Sade, Dolly Parton, Cher, Jennifer Rush.... I'd heard enough by then and proceeded to leave. On my way out, some nearby residents were on their way in, not to party but to complain. Whether it was about the volume of the backing track or the quality of the singing was unclear. I suspect both. Price per person: £1–10

Omg i would highly recommend going to The Hive for food and drink. The welcoming and friendly owners and staff, choice of drinks and the food is out of this world!!!! Get yourselves there to experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
