Once again another disappointment of a meal for our entire family. The last 7/9 times my family and I have dined at the keg at least one of our steaks have been returned. 7 months ago I came here and told myself this was the last time they screwed up my meal/ wasted meat/ food but it was my sisters birthday ; she is abnormally picky and enjoys literally 4 restaurants and it was her pick as it was her birthday. Our family has been dining at the keg for every special occasion for over 30 years and we have no clue why the spike in food/ service has went down over the years but the only one left in the family that chooses the keg is my sister . I asked my boyfriend to join and he literally refused to come as the last 3/3 times his food was taken back he works long days and doesn't have time to sit there and wait for food to be made / and re made and made again. No one does. The last time he went there he gave them 3 opportunities to make him a good steak medium well must be next to IMPOSSIBLE to nail. Either way he decided not to come; my mom refused to even try another steak and ordered a salad . My father didn't even think twice about giving them another opportunity for a steak and ordered ribs. Silly me, thought 7/9 times we came .. there's two people not ordering  a steak. We possibly have an opportunity to NOT RETURN a meal. BUT I was wrong I couldn't BELIEVE my eyes when YET again I cut into my steak to find it to be bone dry well done . I returned my steak and did not wait for a new one to be cooked and I decided I'm calling someone about this ; this is absolutely ridiculous. There HAS to be SOMEONE out there taking complaints seriously!! I spoke to Aman informed him what happened he said he will look into it and call me back. 3 days later he calls me back (after posting a review on open table about how my experience went) and said my family was taken care of . No apologies or anything he said the steak was taken of the bill, I informed him yeah I returned it.... they can't charge me for something I didn't eat. He seemed to absolutely not care not have an ounce of care ,regret ,no apology nothing , I asked to talk to the corporate office. Two days later I got a phone call from Troyan ; I informed him I actually spoke to him in the past regarding an issue and he said yeah you told me you're not coming back ever again ; (weird a business wouldn't ever want you to try to give them another opportunity but I informed him as to why I was back) either way I informed him of what happened again. He said so what do you want ? We cook thousands of steaks a day. I wanted to let him know again yet again a steak was thrown away and this time he 100 percent has lost me as customer not only for steak but for anything for over 30 years our family has came to the keg. He also lost my boyfriend and his corporate office and all the luncheons they went to were always booked/held at the keg prior as I'm the one who scheduled them! He literally had the nerve to respond to me that we aren't open for lunch....... absolutely mind blowing !!!!! I didn't mean a 12 o'clock NOON lunch. This guy doesn't even know how much money and business he has actually lost ; time will tell in your sales/ reservations / and if you just look around your restaurants aren't even AS CLOSE to as busy as they were before, that's because the keg cannot properly cook a steak/ the managers don't know how to treat people. I was going to speak to troyan about amans horrible attitude and lack of customer service skills but they can definitely both shake hands he was most likely trained by him. Who knows!! Absolutely mind blowing how they obtained a position in management. I asked to speak a manager at the corporate office and he said I'm not going to be able to speak to anyone else and suggested that my family and I dine elsewhere . This was the second time my family was told not to go there if they can't cook a steak. How about fire your chefs who suck and hire new ones instead of losing out on a minimum of 1000.00 per year from our family alone. Stop wasting meat!!!! After posting this review I was also contacted by Doug Smith stating he spoke to his Vice President of operations in western Canada and he stands by his decision to not reimburse me nor my family of anything, quite interesting way of dealing with anything an apology goes a long way sometimes! I'm aware you and your staff must be completely embarrassed of being proved wrong that you and your restaurant can't cook a steak and you are a steak house but rest assured you could of offered me a 500.00, 1000,00 or 10,000 gift card to your restaurant and I would of told you to shove it You will never waste another second of my life again , and I will never be the reason food is being tossed away in the garbage when people in this world are going hungry . Shame on this entire restaurant if I owned this place I would be completely embarrassed

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. We have been coming to the Keg for roughly 10 years and we have never had bad food or service. This place goes above and beyond for our family. Drinks are always full and food always hot. Love this place.
