Went to the local house for breakfast initially,but after having a look at the lunch menu was so tempted to try their entrees ordered the DV grilled and ohhhhhh godddd!!!!! The best grilled chicken meal I had..the veggies/chicken/gravy/mashed everything was on point. Tyla was so great........Nice hospitable experience. Thank you The local house Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A great experience! Raman our waitress was excellent and very welcoming. Pancakes were the best I have ever tasted. ( I consider myself a pancake connissouer) Delicious! Servings were huge. We will be back and I will definitely recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Breakfast

Went out of the norm going to Edmonton for a nice meal and chose to do something a bit different. Settled on a scenic drive out to Drayton and a meal at The Local House Cafe - incredibly glad we did. The staff were incredibly pleasant. Who we presumed to be the chef checked to make sure we were happy with the food, and the waitress was friendly and had great advice on where to go for a walk afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed our date night - quite possibly the best one yet in seven years of marriage.
