Such a unique bar, I’ve never been to a place like it. They had a good selection of Belgian beers, and the cinema room looked great. We stayed in the main bar where there were classic films showing. The owner was so lovely! We didn’t try the food but the snacks behind the counter and popcorn looked great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

visiting Ellesmere and was curious about the curved building. Not appropriate for dogs, so took a moment to have a little look without Betty dog. WOW Joy the owner was lovely and gave me a tour. I was blown away to see behind a little door was a Cinema !!! Great Atmosphere. They love dogs but we will have to get Dog sitters to experience the full adventure. Just genius. Highly recommended. This place serves one of the best pints in Ellesmere – definitely try “The Magic Lantern.” They’ve got a great selection of Belgian beers too. You can grab cinema-style popcorn, hotdogs and sweets, and they’ve created the cutest little mini cinema showing a mix of films. We’ve actually just booked it for private hire to watch an old-school chick flick with our group of ladies, which is such a fun idea. Definitely pop in for a friendly welcome from Mark and Joy – a wonderful addition to Ellesmere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Parking options: Paid street parking Parking: Book cinema for private hire. Very good price. Steps to front entrance. Parking in town car park is very reasonable. Kid-friendliness: Friendly and welcome. Main screen they changed film for little one to watch.
