We popped in to the Marquis of Granby spontaneously after visiting a nearby baby/toddler event and we were not disappointed. Staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to serve us well. As a group of 5, we ordered quite a lot of dishes including starters, mains and desserts and all of the food came out in a timely manner, all well cooked and well presented and at the perfect temperature. We had no complaints. Their choice of music/playlist was a nice accompaniment to our overall experience, playing all the old school bangers that we hummed along to! First time visit was trail visit for my husband's 70th birthday, we had the prawn cocktail it was good but waited 40 minutes and our main meal was lasagne it was a load of slop bloody awful, won't be going back to marques Granby Esther again
