I love the feel of the restaurant when you walk inside. All the employees seem to be congenial, which means they work relatively hard, but have a cohesive bond that extends to the taste and quality of the food. Lovely people and great food is definitely a plus, but even if they were not so well, I don't judge. The one con, if I had to nit-pick, was the breaded meatballs. It called for Velveeta cheese, which is not actual cheese. It tasted nice, but it's not healthy for consumption. I'm sure they're probably cognizant of such. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

From atmosphere to energy to service to the apps and entrees and drinks everything was beyond expectation. Was promptly seated and was given a warm welcome on the first time dining. Order the crab stuffed mushrooms, fried green tomatoes and two drinks and everything was so flavorful and fresh and really gave such a good sample of what was to come with the entrees. The creamy Tuscan gnocchi was absolutely out of this world. And the serving size left me with more than enough to bring home. I really can't speak highly enough of the establishment. And our server, I forgot her name, but she was so friendly provided great rapport and fast efficient service! Thank you to the entire mod olive establishment for such a wonderful dining experience! I live here in suffolk my husband & I always travel outside of suffolk to find a restaurant..So we decided to eat here @ The Mod Olive...OMG we have been sleeping on this restaurant..The restaurant was very clean & have a very comfortable atmosphere..Our Waitress was awesome ..When we got our food the presentation was great & The portions was soooo big!! I had fried shrimp, fries & broccoli My shrimps was soooo huge..My husband had the country fried steak & gravy, mash potatoes, & green beans..I have told all my family & friends to try this restaurant...We will return again & again etc.,. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
