Para un turista, tanto este bar como Cube pueden ser igual de atrayentes. Sus comensales dicen que les gusta la cocina británica de The Paramount - JD Wetherspoon. Muy buenas hamburguesas, con un salon amplio donde es casi imposible no encontrar lugar para sentarse, la cerveza esta a muy buen precio y hay varias ofertaa

Always relied on the many Spoons in London for a good time with work colleagues, but this was the first one I tried in Manchester during the time I was in the city Prices are reasonable, service ranged from fantastic to weird and the food is basic. Enjoyed vegan food during the several times I visited. Simply put, it does what it says on the tin. Would give five stars, but one morning, the person behind the bar who took my order referred to me as "sir" for some reason. Never been called that before and hope this poor, confused Wetherspoon worker gets his eyes (and possibly head) examined at the earliest oppty. Regardless, would visit again. Price per person: £1–10 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

I had planned to have an Indian buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant but, although I had booked in advance, they decided on the day of the Eid festival, understandably, to open later than normal. So, I opted, at 3.30pm on a Friday, to head to the nearby Wetherspoons. Having previously enjoyed their Big Smoke burger (£11.79) in a Spoons in Suffolk, I opted for it again. Burger with beef brisket, cheese, bacon, a tangy sauce, chips and onion rings. Excellent. My 500ml Erdinger alcohol-free beer was included, saving me £3.55. By the time you take VAT into account, Spoons were left with just under a tenner. Extraordinary value. The Paramount was packed downstairs and at the outside tables, so I opted for the small area upstairs, with about ten tables in all. My table hadn't been cleared after previous diners and when a man delivered my drink in less than a couple of minutes after ordering it on the app, he seemed less than enthusiastic to give the table a wipe down. The meal also arrived in record time, but, if I wanted condiments, I'd have to go downstairs again to get them. Unusually for me, I also opted for a dessert. Freshly sliced banana, apple, strawberries, blueberries and two scoops of vanilla ice cream for just £3.59. Another bargain and it arrived less than 2 minutes after ordering on the app. Spoons is what it is, cheap and cheerful. Service is rarely part of the deal.
