Absolutely amazing food! The breakfast wraps and quiches are amazing especially the mountaineer wrap and crustless quiche . And I can’t say enough about their chicken caesar salad! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Salads, Wraps, Quiche, Tomato Bisque

I’ll start with the good, that being the actually patio is quite nice and the desserts are great. It’s also in a convenient location downtown. Now the bad: It’s so blasted cold in this place that it’s uncomfortable to even stand in line to order. There’s no one ever eating inside and I’m certain that is the reason. It feels like a walk-in freezer, that’s not an exaggeration. They also take a very long time to prepare the food even if it’s a soup and salad. Typical wait time for food will be 45-1hour. The food is usually healthy-ish but very bland. I go here occasionally for convenience but as more restaurants open downtown it won’t be worth it. The service is subpar and occasionally kind of abrasive. Recently, one of the employees came to register, ignored the fact that there was a full line of people, didn’t even acknowledge me standing there and ordered and paid for her own food. Then looked up and said “you’re good, right?” I hadn’t even been spoken to when she walked up. Uh.. I was very obviously standing in the line to order , so, no. No one in the line has ordered. That’s why we are standing at this freezer box of a counter. Just weird & rude. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

With an incredible selection of restaurants in Waynesville I just can’t see coming back to this one. This restaurant falls into this new mentality I see a lot of places having. They charge a similar rate to the restaurants around them and deliver an incredibly inferior product. I think the picture of my “Carolinian” sandwich speaks for itself. I can’t understand paying $10 for a sandwich that had 4 slices of ham, two slices of tomato, and two pieces of lettuce. The ham was essentially deli ham. You could tell it was sliced but the flavor was negligible. For the money I would much rather get a sandwich from Smokey Mountain Sub Shop. They make sure you get what you pay for. The Greek wrap had a little bit of chicken and a massive amount of lettuce. It was basically a side salad in a tortilla. The dressing was good. My girlfriend wished we had gone to Dough Boys to get a wrap instead. They were closed so we tried the patio bistro and we were disappointed. The place was busy and they were short staffed. No problem with that. They were doing their best and no issues there. You could tell the staff was on edge. The atmosphere is great and we sat outside while we waited for our take out. I would like to think this place is pretty good. It’s just not for us. If you’re a vegetarian or you are a retirement age white lady then I truly think you’ll love it.
