We loved our first visit to the Perch, and the food and service were great! The second time we went, we ordered the same things - Ahi Tuna BLT for me, and loaded fries for him, and had the opposite experience. What was a perfectly grilled rare tuna last time was completely different - it was just an overcooked piece of fish on untoasted bread, with a few spinach leaves. There was no aioli, bacon, or tomato - somewhat key ingredients when it's advertised as a BLT. I asked our server, who shrugged, and got me a side of a different aioli but didn't apologize or offer any explanation. The loaded fries were also not quite loaded - they only had the cheese and peppers, they had no bacon or sauces. We certainly would've ordered different things if we'd been told that many of the ingredients weren't going to be included. No discount or apology was offered. We'll go back for some games, but I guess we won't be eating anymore. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

I'm really sorry to hear that your second visit to The Perch didn’t live up to your first — especially since you came back specifically for those same dishes. What you described isn’t up to our standards, and we completely understand your frustration. The Ahi Tuna BLT should never go out missing key ingredients, and we definitely should have communicated any changes or issues with availability before your order arrived.
