Went to a motorbike event there raising money for charity, organised by Russ from Brettons motorbikes, brilliant day, live music, good day had by all! Friendly staff, they were brilliant coping well, considering the amount of people there were that day! clean, bright, with a pool table and large TV to watch football! Worth a visit! Price per person: £20–30

Wow wee this pub wet above and beyond our expectations. The staff (Emma) was so welcoming and informative about the offers on. It was half term so we did kids eat for a £1. It was such good value for money with homemade chicken nuggets on the kids meal and the shortcrust pastry on the steak pie was perfect. Will definitely be eating here in future. It's not often that I'm catfished by a website but The Piper's site definitely makes it look like a more upmarket dining pub and not the bog standard sports local that it is. The food is basic but nicely done which is fine if you want to eat surrounded by at least eight noisy screens blaring out the football - we didn't. Bar service only. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
