Good Morning, I am sorry to hear of this experience as this it is not in keeping with our expected standards. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible service and this is very much unlike my team. If you could provide me with a specific time that you entered, precisely which employee served you and your order I would happily look into this. Although, I suspect, you will not be able to provide this information as I do believe that this review is exaggerated and embellished. In fact, it is completely malicious and there is no facts contained within your review. My belief is that you, and the other reviewer from last night with the same surname, are both related and from a Christmas party that were turned away last night due to one of your party being highly intoxicated, in our opinion. The language you have used in this review is very similar to the language you used while shouting in my face last night and arrogantly saying 'well you're losing money' and using foul and abusive language while trying to intimidate myself and the doorstaff. To be clear, the law is very simple about serving people who are clearly too intoxicated. We do not serve them. This is the law for every day of the year and is not adapted to suit different occasions. We train our staff, both bar and door, to spot these signs and when we believe that someone is too intoxicated, they are refused entry and/or service. This is called responsible retailing and is in line with the 4 licensing objectives and licensing law. We have to adhere to these and failure to do so could result in heavy fines or worse, imprisonment, loss of jobs and lose of licences. My suggestion to you, in future, is to be respectful of the rules that ALL licensed premises have to adhere to and trade by. As for saying you wouldn't come back here, as you screamed in my face last night, I think you seem to be under the wrong impression as, to be very clear, you are not welcome back here. We will never tolerate any member of the public being aggressive and abusive towards any of our staff and you are no different. Regards Stu GM
