Not had a pie so can't comment on the food. Lovely atmosphere and welcome on each visit, and I keep going back. Brilliant community feel to the place, I feel happy on my own and with friends. Price per person: £20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A small micropub hidden by the townhall seving real ales and craft keg beer.Always a good pint. Also has a wide selection of craft cans and a good selection on low and 0% beers and ciders. Well worth a visit. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The beer selection is genuinely outstanding, with a brilliant mix of well-kept classics and interesting local brews that always give you something new to try. There’s a real sense of community here; whether you’re a regular or just passing through, you’re made to feel like part of it straight away. What really sets it apart, though, is the atmosphere—lively without being overwhelming, cosy without feeling cramped. It strikes that perfect balance that keeps you wanting to stay for “just one more.” And the staff? Genuinely some of the friendliest you’ll come across—passionate, chatty, and always willing to bend over backwards. All in all, The Pour House isn’t just a pub—it’s the pub.
