Great sports bar in downtown Austin with an awesome atmosphere, especially for soccer fans. I tried the Reuben rolls and they were excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Definitely a great spot to catch a game. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just arrived in Austin and it was a bit late 9pm. Many places were closed/closing. We weren’t looking for fancy or expecting a lot, just simple pub fare. My husband’s burger and the Irish fries were mediocre. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was pretty much inedible. Red cabbage swimming in waaay too much buffalo hot sauce covered a piece of chicken about 1/4 inch thick and 1 1/2 inches wide. When I questioned if it was even chicken the server ran off with no intrest in hearing what I might think about it. She did not return. She spent her time chatting with the other staff and engrossed with her phone, until another staff (also on her phone) looked up and saw we were ready to leave. When we asked for the bill we were told they can’t print them and had to go to the bar. Upon paying my husband asked what the $9.20 service charge was for. She said she didn’t know. After reading some comments I understand it was an automatic tip. She knew, she lied. I understand now, why these staff are not hustling at all. They are getting an automatic tip, so they don’t care. The decor is the only thing worthy of any stars at all. If you find yourself looking for a bite to eat in Austin after 9, just give this one a pass and keep looking. Hi Amy, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really sorry your first night in Austin ended on that note. After a long day of travel, you should be able to count on a simple, satisfying meal and attentive service. It sounds like we missed the mark on both. The chicken sandwich you described is not how that item is intended to be prepared or served. What you received doesn’t reflect our standards, and I understand why you questioned it. I’m also disappointed to hear how your concerns were handled. You should never feel dismissed when bringing up an issue, and that’s something we take seriously. Regarding the service charge, we clearly need to do a better job explaining it. It should always be communicated transparently, and our team should be able to answer questions about it confidently and honestly. I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience. We appreciate your feedback about the décor, but we know atmosphere alone isn’t enough. Your comments are being shared with our management and team so we can address both food quality and service attentiveness, especially during later hours. I've been here before on my lunch HOUR. Today, it's obvious that the back of house was taking their lunch break too. After waiting almost 25 minutes for the great fish & chips, I asked the bar tender to cancel my order because, gee, my lunch HOUR was almost done. Hey I get most people on a Friday have time to kill in the afternoon, but some of us work and we don't have all afternoon to wait for an order to come out. Very disappointing because the food is very good. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you for coming in and for taking the time to share this. You’re absolutely right. When someone comes in on their lunch hour, timing matters. Waiting 25 minutes and then having to cancel your order isn’t the experience you should have had, especially when you were counting on us to get you in and out. I’m glad to hear you think the fish & chips are great, but that doesn’t make up for the delay. We need to be more aware of pace during lunch service, particularly on busy Fridays, and make sure we’re communicating clearly if there’s going to be a longer wait. We appreciate you calling this out. It’s helpful feedback, and we’ll be addressing it with the team. We hope you’ll give us another shot when you’re on a tighter schedule.
