Really poor service really small facilities really badly laid out The costs would make you think its a lot better than it is. If you made galgorm in your back garden using the middle isle at lidl and hired people to service you who didn't want to be there you'd be pretty close to the overall experience, Giant trashy disco ball highlight of the day because everything else sucked

Kind of like a Temu version of galgorm. No drinks or bars before 12 in the spa. They send you all the way to the hotel in the bar they’re weird about you sitting in robes for a coffee but that’s where they direct you to get a coffee. Whole place is tiny and laid out ridiculously. Relaxing massage but you can hear people screaming from the cold plunge during it embarrassed for them. Wish I could give zero stars Male changing rooms are the size of a small toilet and are for staff aswell

My boyfriend and I checked into The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat and initially had a lovely experience. Reception staff were friendly, the room was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa. However, our evening was overshadowed by confusion surrounding the hotel's dress code. After being told there was entertainment from 9pm, we went to the bar for drinks and were immediately told my boyfriend could not sit inside because he was wearing shorts. This was the first time we had heard of any dress code, despite receiving lots of information at check-in. There was no mention of it at reception and no clear signage. I then searched for the dress code online and found that it referred to athleisure wear, football tops, tank tops, and baseball caps. None of these applied to what my boyfriend was wearing. When the manager later spoke to us, he explained that the issue was actually that all shorts were prohibited, which was not what the online information suggested. He also acknowledged that the website needed updating. It was frustrating to be challenged over a rule that was neither clearly communicated on arrival nor accurately reflected online. To add to the confusion, there were other guests inside wearing shorts, making the enforcement of the policy seem inconsistent. If the dress code is important enough to prevent paying guests from accessing parts of the hotel, it should be clearly displayed on the website and communicated during check-in. The saving grace of the evening was Darragh. Although the situation wasn't his fault, he was incredibly professional, apologetic, and welcoming. He brought us inside, found us a table, and kindly provided us with a cocktail. His customer service completely turned the experience around and he is a real credit to the hotel. Overall, the hotel, spa, and room were excellent, but the lack of clear communication and inconsistency surrounding the dress code was disappointing. Darragh's outstanding service was the highlight of our stay.
