We availed of the promo (food at Red Bucket with swimming at Villabong Resort) Good: 1. Food was great. we loved the Humba Ribs, Tahong, Chicken 2. Ambience was really great, lakas maka oriental feels 3. All amenities are clean. Pool, toilets, sink, etc. 4. Staff are nice. 5. Inallow naman kami gumamit ng minimal electricity for balloon pump Issues: 1. False advertisement-we inquired through their Red Bucket FB page. When we asked what are the inclusions in the food, they sent a photo of plated rice, chicken and veggies. What was served was rice and chicken in a paper plate (no veggies) 2. Booking conflict- we are initially scheduled for 5-10PM, after a few days, we were advised that we will be moved to 7PM dahil daw may event pala sila na conflict sa time namin, but that it was okay to setup at 6PM (for backdrop designs). That was ok with us, however, when we came at 6PM, we were told by a lady (who seems to be managing) that the current event will be over at exactly 7PM pa and we won’t be allowed to setup yet. We told them that we were advised that we can come earlier for the setup so they let us in at the restaurant so we can start, and just move everything once the other event is done. 3. Conflict management- dito malaki naging problema namin. first, they should be transparent in booking timings. If the other event is ending at 7PM, they shouldn’t tell people that it’s okay to come an hour early, especially that after 7pm, they’ll be needing another 10-15 minutes to clean. medyo nakaka off lang na 1 hour kami sa reception area waiting na matapos yun naunang event at medyo hassle na ilipipat lipat pa lahat . second, since there was a problem with the committed time, the manager could’ve handled the situation a LOT better if there was a bit of empathy but ang sagot samin is parang “sorry pero talagang 7pm matatapos, di ko naman sila pwedeng paalisin”. so sabi na lng niya patapusin niya yung nauna ng 6:30 para 7 kami makapasok. we were able to come in at 7:15. another thing na dito na kami medyo nagsnap, nung sinerve yung food, naka paper plate at rice and chicken lang. my sister who booked the resort asked nasan na yung veggies? saka bakit naka paper plate? (reason we asked is sobrang nag effort pa kami magdala ng charger plate para maganda maging itsura ng setup tapos paper plate pala yung gagamitin), medyo understandable ito dahil pandemic at baka extra careful sila, but we could’ve brought our own plates kung informed kami na paper plates at plasticwares pala ang gagamitin. Next, nawawala ang gulay, so we asked the staff bakit walang gulay? dumating na ulit si madam, at siya ang kumausap sa amin. convo went like: manager: hi ma’am ano pong problema? sister: ahh kasi nasan po yung gulay? saka bakit naka paper plates? kasi super effort kami mag setup tapos paperplates pala? manager: wala pong kasamang gulay yan, yan po talaga ang included sa dinami dami po ng naging customer namin. sis: pero nanghingi kasi ako inclusions doon sa kachat ko sa fb page, sinend nya yung pic with maayos na plating at may gulay (shows pic to mgr) mgr: pero pang promotion lng po namin yung picture na yun sis: ha? e sana nagsabi kayo di ba? kasi nakapagdala sana kami plates at na manage ng maayos ang food to make sure hindi mabibitin mgr: e ma’am, ano po ba gusto nyo mangyari? ano po gusto nyo gawin namin? sis: *triggered* ah e wag po kayo magcommit ng mga hindi naman pala yun ang talagang ipprovide ninyo. ayoko talaga mainis kasi birthday ko.. pero kanina pa ang daming nangyayari. Ako na triggered na din sa mga sagot ni mgr: Ma’am false advertising kasi yan, ok understandable naman na pandemic at baka may mga nabago, pero hindi naman mahirap mag note sa message na paperplates ang gagamitin, saka kung nasa key visual ninyo ay may veggies, yun yung iaassume namin na included na food. dapat nag note kayo. mgr: finally apologizes at “sige po, try ko na lang po magprovide ng plates” which they provided at nagbigay din ng extra 1 hr (w/c we did not fully consume din naman dahil late na) — medyo disappointing na lahat maliliit na details lang naman na pwede sana palagpasin if the manager have managed the conflict properly kaso yung approach niya talaga is parang “e anong gusto mong gawin ko?” so parang no choice kami kundi mag adjust sa ano lang ibibigay niya. and I guess you really need to improve the communication/customer handling. but all in all bawi naman sa ambience at nag enjoy ang kids.

the food was really good and tasty...i am so glad we have tried this place...the staff was also so nice and accomodating...would want to go back and dine again....thank you so much for the experience...

It was our first time at Ribs by The Red bucket and I love the ambience and their wooden interiors matching the LV, Coach & Gucci displays on the shelves.. we liked the ribs so tender and flavorful.. price is affordable and worth it.
