Its closed Mondays only open in the evening through the week and closes at 10pm on the days that its open plus on a weekend they don't serve food much past 6pm, i really don't know how they make any money to stay open and i found out the hard way that they are closed Mondays i went to pull in the carpark and the chain they put Accross the entrance put a lovely dent in my bonnet and wing of my beloved car as it was dark and there was no lit signs with any warnings. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

We recently discovered this place and it is now a firm favourite. It's a real hidden gem. The food is delicious and really reasonably priced. It is a family friendly pub and I never feel uncomfortable bringing my children here, they both say that the scampi here is the best they've ever had. The beer garden looks large and spacious, can't wait for the nicer weather to be able to enjoy it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What an absolute gem of a pub! The Rising Sun is welcoming, spotless, and truly family- and pet-friendly. The atmosphere is homely and relaxed, and every member of staff is warm, attentive, and second to none. We first came across the pub by chance, read the amazing reviews, and decided to come back the next day when it was open — and they were not wrong! The food was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Everywhere is so clean and inviting, and you instantly feel at home as soon as you step inside. We were so impressed that we’ve already booked future visits and are recommending it to friends and family. Highly, highly recommended!
