Es uno de mis lugares favoritos cuando estoy en Franklin. Fue muy buena la atención del mesero. Pedimos un dip de espinacas , un salmón y un filete mignon. La comida estuvo deliciosa. No estaba concurrido. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My husband & I went to the Rutledge for our anniversary. From the pictures online, it looked amazing. We had a reservation at 6 pm on Friday. Upon arrival, we noted that the restaurant was not busy at all for dinner time on Friday. The decor inside seemed a little outdated. We expected the ambiance to be cozy, classy, & warm. It was not. The lighting was bright, the seating was very open, so no sense of privacy. The jazz music was loud and painfully bad. (I asked for the music to be changed, and they did change it, but they changed it to 1970's soft rock which was only moderately better. The music added to the out-dated feel.). Our waiter, Christian, was friendly and helpful. He did a great job. We got spinach dip for a starter and it was good. My husband got lobster bisque which was the consistency of a dip and quite salty. He only ate a bite or two and could not finish it. We both ordered steaks. They were cooked to a perfect medium rare, and they were tender, however they lacked seasoning. They were bland and needed salt and pepper, to be basted in butter with garlic and rosemary or something. My potato was good, and my broccolini was ok -- a little undercooked. One of the biggest problems was that the food was as expensive or even a little more expensive than Stoney River or J. Alexander's, and the quality of the food combined with the disappointing ambiance was not comparable to what we would have experienced at either of those restaurants. (Note: There was even a "hospitality fee" on the bill. I'm not sure what this is for, but when you're already looking at a bill over $275 for mediocre food and an hour and a half of 1970's soft rock, a hospitality fee is just too much.) It was way below our expectations, and our experience makes it clear why the restaurant was so empty at dinner time on a Friday night in Franklin. Overall, it is not a restaurant I would recommend or choose to go to again. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
