Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast at our favorite hidden Cornish jem. From the moment you walk in the staff were are warm, friendly, and welcoming. The place is spotless, well presented, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. As always the food was amazing and you can really tell it's all homemade, with generous portions and great quality. The Yorkshire puddings were proper homemade ones, light, fluffy, and full of flavour. The gravy was rich and absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it was excellent value for money. The homemade desserts are an absolute must! The deconstructed cheesecake was beyond good—honestly one of the best desserts I've ever had. If you're looking for a proper homemade Sunday roast with fantastic service, great value with a great selection of drinks then give it a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place to go for a Steak
Due to the nature of my job I get to eat at many steakhouses and restaurants throughout the UK & London. And I can say I have had some brilliant steaks over the years. But I never thought I would find the best steak I ever had and I mean this was a piece of meat (a 32oz Tomahawk) cooked to perfection who would of thought that a restaurant (The Shaft Inn) on a Holliday Park (Globe vale) in Cornwall could out shine all the steakhouse and restaurants i'v been too. And the service from the staff was 150%. Can't Wait to have another one. One other thing you need to try their Curry night and Sunday roast and anything else that's on the menu. Keep up the great work Tye and team Shaft inn.
