It was wonderful meeting Tashi the owner of “The Stache” who happened to be the person serving us that morning as well! What a delightful cozy brunch spot in the city of Colombo. We enjoyed the delicious food and company. Tashi made us feel so welcome and her staff was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend the milk rice extravaganza that exploded with flavours. Ok this place is amazing! The food is really, really good. We went for brunch and it was super tasty. Creative, fusion, great portions... Incredible presentation even.. a real treat. The staff also was great. Like with the expresso they give a glass of water. Small thing but hardly any have that European tradition here. The ‘Stache is always my go-to spot whenever I’m in Sri Lanka—I’m absolutely in love with their food! I never leave without ordering the Siam Ceylon (their kiribath dish); it’s packed with flavor and just so, so good. Their fluffy pancakes are another must-try and one of their bestsellers for a reason. The service has been consistently great every single time, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here more than 12 times, and it never disappoints. It’s a small space, but super cute with a lovely ambiance. Highly recommend this gem of a place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
