Visiting Exeter for a funeral, we were looking for a nice place to eat. Found The Stand Off after looking and the reviews were great! I ordered a chicken burger, which was excellent no issues at all but unfortunately 4 out of the 9 of the guests received undercooked beef burgers. They could not get our food order or drinks order correct (mouldy lime also found in a drink), which was repeated multiple times and we had to promptly leave due to the atmosphere after this experience. We of course had discussed this with management to which a reduction on the bill was made but after wrong order taking, mould in drinks and some dangerous beef products I would not attend or recommend it! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20

We went here during our week long trip to the UK coming from Wisconsin, US. Didn’t have any food, but did share a couple of beers together. Great atmosphere with the World Cup going on. Nice bar overall. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
