Definitely a hidden gem. Food was excellent! I ordered the brisket breakfast burrito and it was amazing! Place is busy so there is a wait since everything is cooked fresh to order. Nice vibe going as well. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love this spot! Been here a few times, tried most of the menu and the place is a vibe. Literally some of the best brisket I've had outside of the south. Always flavorful, tender, never dry. Same with the tri-tip. Really all the meats are cooked perfectly. They have a good mix of canned drinks available and self serve waters. My husband's favorite is the Fireman Mike's sandwich. I love the Chicken Strandwich, Chicken Club and Esquite fries. Put 4 stars instead of 5 though because they need to work on their mac salad. It's the only thing of theirs I've had that I wasn't impressed by. I grew up with Hawaiian style mac salad and the menu literally says "Hawaiian Style" so I had high hopes for it when I saw that. It ended up having no flavor just like mainland type macaroni salad sorry. But definitely hit this place up if you're anywhere in the area!

If I could give this amazing little treasure 6 stars I would! First of all, the deliciousness starts with a huge sandwich menu that has something for everyone. Next the customer service is stellar. We called first and Rick was so friendly, even at an busy breakfast hour. Third, it’s a charming local culture atmosphere with historic Silverstrand photos and artwork, from beach scenes to custom car pics and aerial views of The Strand. A very clean place with efficient use of a small space. Indoor and outdoor tables. Parking is across the street, but you can call in orders and pick up. But, perhaps, most impressive is owner, Madison, has led the category in using tallow as the frying oil, so we can devour our breakfast burrito and brisket croissant without heartburn and inflammation. It doesn’t get better than healthful, delicious ingredients, vast choice, smoked meats on-site, and excellent service! Why would we go anywhere else for breakfast or lunch and have to exclude 90% of a menu to avoid dreaded seed and “vegetable” oils, when we can enjoy everything The Strandwich has to offer! Thank you.
